House Dinner - Tuesday, August 30

The first House dinner of the Fall 2011 semester kicked off Tuesday evening, August 30.  Residents and guests enjoyed grilled burgers and brats, a lively panel discussion about GA planning from the "inside" and a brief worship service to close the evening.

We are grateful to lay and clergy panel members Kathy Davis, local arrangements coordinator, Trey Flowers, Associate Minister Woodmont Christian Church, Elizabeth Regen Woodmont Christian Church member and Hope Hodnett Associate Minister, Vine St. Christian for their interesting perspective on the 18 month long process of planning for 6,000 Disciples to visit Nashville. 

The next House dinner will be Thursday, September 22.  Our guest speaker will be General Minister and President, Sharon Watkins.
