J. Gottman begins as Director of Development

Disciples Divinity House is most pleased to announce that on Monday, January 9, Rev. J. Gottman began work as Director of Development at the Disciples Divinity House at Vanderbilt. J. will work remotely, three quarters time, from his home in Paducah, Kentucky, with regular trips to Nashville as needed. He will serve in partnership with Dean Mark Miller-McLemore for the support of students from the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) who are preparing for ministry at Vanderbilt Divinity School.

J. is a graduate of Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri, and earned his Masters of Divinity in 1997 from Vanderbilt Divinity School. As a student, he was a resident in and active at the Disciples Divinity House-Vanderbilt and worked…
