House Board Fall Meeting

Nineteen members of the board of Disciples Divinity House gathered on Monday, November 14, for the board’s Fall Meeting. Trustees reviewed reports from staff and about finances. We received another "unqualified" audit report. We heard updates on the window replacement project, the “100 x  $1,000” campaign, website improvements, and the exciting lineup of performers for the 2012 Talent for the House, scheduled for March 29. 

Members of the board gathered with current Disciples House students Sunday evening, November 13, for dinner from Monell’s and a presentation by Norman and May Reed on the remarkable Preston Taylor, African-American Nashville Disciple entrepreneur and churchman who founded Greenwood Cemetery, pastored churches, and led in the establishment of what is now the National Convocation of the Christian Church.
